since ive last posted a blog. so i decided to get off my butt and actually post one. although im really bored right now so i might wind up posting like 5. lol. im not even kidding.
heres just some of the things that have happened to me over the past 2 months. (dont worry i have pictures for all of these things)
well i went to Iquique, Antoagasta and Arica with my new parents and my new uncle. i have tons of great memories from that trip.
on that trip that i just mentioned, i fell in love with the most beautiful the most wonderful person in the whole world. Francisco. TKM mi amor. he´s so sweet and although he only speaks spanish we understand each other. and he is the one that got me off my butt to go learn more spanish. te amo muxo mi amor.
i bought myself a camera and WOW it´s been put to good use already. in one day i had over 60 pictures put on it. just by hanging out with my friends. ( im posting a blog about all my friends too con fotos).
yesterday happened to be my last day of work at Tierra Atacama. (im posting a blog about that one. and its gonna have a ton of photos.
um what else...
oh i went on a huge caminata lasana(idk if thats how you spell it) and chiu chiu. that was a crazy and funny trip i will remember that forever. (im posting a blog con fotos on that tambien.
and a lot of other stuff has happened to me. but its been almost 2 months so i cant really remember everything. lol.
one thing i have to say is that i only have like 12 days left in here in chile. its gonna be sad to say goodbye to all of my friends. but im so coming back to chile sometime just randomly im not gonna tell anybody. im just gonna show up and be all IM BACK!!! LA GRINGA LOCA IS BACK!!! lol. well i have like 5 blogs to post so i better start on that.

oh P.S. this upoming week is gonna be jam packed with so much stuff. because the 10th is the graduation down here. and on that same day theres gonna be a huge party at the house of one of my friends so yeah...im so sad i love all of the 4th graders... danny, saraxo, karen, karem, brucean, bush, and all of the rest but i cant really remember right now. and then the 11th is a huge dance that us 3rd graders are throwing for the 4th graders. and i think that day my new dad´s son is coming from Santiago. so im gonna get to meet my brother. its gonna be hilarious because he knows no english what so ever. in a span of like a week. i´ll teach him spanish. and sometime during this upcoming week i need to throw a party because some of my friends are leaving and wont be able to see my leave. thats kinda sad. but this isnt goodbye...this is hello with a long pause in the middle.

Halloween and other random thoughts ive had.
so today is halloween and i would give everything just to go up to the states for tonight and go trick or treating with my friends. and then come back down here to chile and stay here forever. im not even kidding i love it so much down here. i really dont want to go back. i know im gonna be all emo for like the whole rest of christmas vacation in the states cuz im gonna miss my friends and of course jonny. lol. but okay im trying to make this short like super short because im going to a halloween party with some of my friends.
halloween is my favorite holiday of all time because u get to dress up as something ur not. although people always act like different characters all the time. but this holiday just gives them an excuse. lol. but i love it. i technically dont have a costume down here so im gonna just make something up. lol.

ok so i promised...
so i yeah i got bored within like 5 minutes of posting my last blog that ive decided to post another one. lol. dang ADD. hahahahaha.
so this is just gonna be a blog filled with randomness. i might throw random spanish in here so watch out. i warned you in advance. lol
so charles has saying how he might go home early (like the ending of Nov) and i dont know how i feel about that because 1. if he goes home early and im left down here till the ending of Dec by myself im gonna be mad, and plus i´ll have to go flying back to the states with just Mr. Chambers. poor him. he doesnt know how i fly. lol. ok and 2 if he leaves and im pulled back to the states early im gonna be even more mad. i mean i´ll go nuts. i might beat charles up myself. lol. jk charles. love ya. ok so that was a ton of randomness.
i have offically fallen in love. AWE!!!!! SO CUTE !!! right? hahhahaha not really because ive fallen in love with....limewire. hahahahahaha i love that thing. ok so on my computer down here it takes forever to download a song but once ive downloaded it i go nuts and listen to it for like 2o minutes. until the next song downloads. lol. talking about that i need to download more songs. lol. more reggaeton!!!
im still working on the big presentation for mi clase de ingles. well technically i just started it like last week. hahahahaha i know omg lenaya is slacking off. but believe me i always do this. just ask my mom the whole story of me throwing over a chair. lol. but im getting my presentation done and hopefully i´ll have chili in time for my presentation. because down here they say that their "chili" is hot. HA!!!!!!!!! it´s nothing compared to the super flippin awesomeness that is New Mexican chili. lol. but i hope my presentation isnt that bad. and i hope i dont sound like la gringa that i am. lol. oh and if u dont remember i have to give this whole presentation en español.
ok both me and charles agree that when we go back to the states that the dances that we have have to be cooler. technically more like the dances down here. because down here everyone dances no matter what song it is. well they dont dance hiphop but thats a whole other story. 2-stepping has gotten old people. yall need to learn how to dance to reggaeton. WISIN Y YANDEL!!!!!! sorry had to shout out to one of my new favorite groups.

work is going good. im trying to learn more spanish so i can actually talk to some of my co-workers. because one day i was just talking to Pancho(he´s a chef at Tierra Atacama, he´s super funny and really nice.) and he had no idea what i was telling him. he said in spanish that he was looking for the subtitles (like in the movies) so he could understand. lol. all the people i work with are extremely crazy i think thats why they like me...because im the craziest one there. lol.
oh charles is trying to hook me up with rene. the guy that i danced with. because according to charles rene is a nice guy and that rene has always liked me ever since i first went to the school.lol. i knew that one. but one thing that charles forgets to mention is that rene doesnt speak english. thats sorta a roadblock. but it hasnt stopped me in the past. lol. aka jonny. oh and plus alot of other people are trying to hook me up with guys. and im all...i dont want a guy. but do they listen....no. im getting hooked up with a guy at work, rene, and lots of others. being a gringa is so hard sometimes. lol. YEAH RIGHT!!!!! i love all of the attention.
ok right now i want to offically say sorry to my brother. because i have jumped on "his scene" but diego come on you jumped on my scene first. hahahahahaha. love ya bro. cant wait to go home and stay up till x-mas watching simpsons episodes, batman like 15 times and of course i have to come back and kick your butt in rockband because you know im the bomb at rockband.
i dont know what else to say because im getting out of my whole im a blonde girl with ADD moment. lol.
oh i know. when i arrive in the states i expect to party so much just to celebrate life and that im totally awesome. lol. and this tiem i promise to invite charles. hahahaha poor him i think he got mad that i didnt invite him to my house to play rockband. lol. love ya charles. oh and im totally having a kick butt party down here to celebrate that la gringa is going back to the EEUU. the day that soiky and aracelli come back till the day that charles and i leave were partying it up. : )

2 months to go.
so today is the halway day. 2 months down, 2 months to go. and pretty much im in a halfway mood. im happy and sad at the same time. im happy to go to the states to see my mom and my brother and the whole montoya fam, and to hang out with my friends...play rockband, eat easy mac, go to concerts. hahahahaha but at the same time im really sad to leave from here because ive made a ton of friends and man do i mean a ton. lol. jo, sue, david, cata, lucas, mimo, jonny <3, jordan, danny, aaron, jurema, just to name a few. ive even gotten a few bfs down here but thats a whole other story for a whole other time. but i really dont want to leave from down here. i dont want to leave my new family. im the crazy white daughter. lol. well technically down here im la gringa who´s muy loca. lol.
im trying really hard not to cry right now but im really sad. because of many things. this week has been one crazy week. saturday i would have loved to be up in NM with my mom and my bro. at the big family reunion. because i know that saturday was a hard day for my family. Elijah Wood
yes this is me and Elijah Wood. yep i know be jealous. lol hahaha. he hapened to be staying at Tierra Atacama. and i got to meet him so the total count of famous people i have met down here is one so far. lets see who else i meet. *Ricky Martin* Elijah Wood is a really nice person. he is so sweet. i talked to him for awhile before i had t go back to work. but i did find out that he was down in Chile for a museum opening in Santiago. and then he came to SPA for vacation. he is one of the sweetest people i have ever meet. right when i said something in front of him he knew i wasnt from down here. i mean its kinda obvious i talk like a valley girl, and im a skinny blonde gringa. hahahahaha. so yeah once again he was real sweet, so nice and he has beautiful eyes and he´s about as tall as me. hahaha lol. okay so my brother wanted me to do one of these in honor of Matt Hardy (one of my favorite wrestlers) so here it goes....lets see if i can do one of these. okay let me grab my ipod put it on shuffle (the songs that come up symbolize different events that have occured to me down here. so yeah im gonna go through 10 songs and here it goes....
Song 1- Hate me by Blue October just came up. it´s funny that ths song came up because ive been wondering for the past few weeks if i hate 2 people down here. the whole forgiving and forgetting thing is kinda hard.
Song 2- Shimmy by SOAD came up. hahaha ive been trying to shimmy out of certain situations down here. trying to keep on everyone´s good side. im not quite sure if its working.
Song 3- She´s only 18 by RHCP came up. if i could retitled this song i would re-title it she´s only 16. thats all im saying.
Song 4- Thunder kiss 65 by Rob Zombie. 5 5 5. hahaha listen to the song u´ll know why i put that. "i never try anything i just do it" thats such a great line. sums up alot.
Song 5- Chillin by Tego Calderon came up. thats a great song to come up because our vacation is almost over and i´ll ive been doing this whole entire time is just been chillin. whether it be at my house or somewhere else, with people or without out. i´m always chillin.

hahahaha so im bored so i decided to post a blog. because today marks that we (charles and i) only have a week of vacation left. : ( sad i know right. but im looking forward to going back to school. i know OMG!!! am i alright? yes i am. lol. and no i am not looking forward to going to school to see Jonny. i looking forward to going to school so i can hang out with all of my friends (well minus Jo because she´s going on vacation till the 17th of Oct.)
okay well anyways idk (i dont know. lol) what i was writing this blog about so i´ll tell u random things that i have seen or heard or learned done here. lol. theres a lot...
1. Everyone calls someone older than them tia or tio. yeah it took me a week before i realized that not everybody in this town is related to each other. (unlike Magdalena lol)
2. I just love this so im gonna post about it again but down here...on cigarette packages they put pictures of haggard looking teeth on them. hahaha i need to bring some of those back for certain aunts and uncles of mine.
3. Dancing the dances from down here are extremely hilarious for a white girl from NM.
4. I have had 3 people call me princess in the time i have been down here. 2 of those guys i have no idea who there were.
5. Reggaeton is the bomb!!!! well i already knew that but did u know that?
6. That being a skinny, blonde, white girl a lot of guys like you. Hence my list, yes a list, of gys that i have.
7. I have also learned that you cant trust anybody. Not even your friends because you never know when they might turn around and stab you in the back and steal your boyfriend. sorry....that was really random.
8. To never get fashion advice from Charles. if it was up to him i would be wearing a nun´s outfits everyday.
9. Oh that there is a ton of dogs down here. and OMG if their not cute small dogs i freak out and hide behind someone. i cant stand dogs.well stray dogs anyways.
10. That learning spanish is taking longer than i thought. but thats probably because i hang out with all that english speakers. i need to hang out with people that only know spanish. Jonny come here. lol. im kidding. i dont want to freak out my momma.
11. That there are a lot of cute guys down here. so for all the people that told me to take pictures of cute guys im working on it.

okay well anyways idk (i dont know. lol) what i was writing this blog about so i´ll tell u random things that i have seen or heard or learned done here. lol. theres a lot...
1. Everyone calls someone older than them tia or tio. yeah it took me a week before i realized that not everybody in this town is related to each other. (unlike Magdalena lol)
2. I just love this so im gonna post about it again but down here...on cigarette packages they put pictures of haggard looking teeth on them. hahaha i need to bring some of those back for certain aunts and uncles of mine.
3. Dancing the dances from down here are extremely hilarious for a white girl from NM.
4. I have had 3 people call me princess in the time i have been down here. 2 of those guys i have no idea who there were.
5. Reggaeton is the bomb!!!! well i already knew that but did u know that?
6. That being a skinny, blonde, white girl a lot of guys like you. Hence my list, yes a list, of gys that i have.
7. I have also learned that you cant trust anybody. Not even your friends because you never know when they might turn around and stab you in the back and steal your boyfriend. sorry....that was really random.
8. To never get fashion advice from Charles. if it was up to him i would be wearing a nun´s outfits everyday.
9. Oh that there is a ton of dogs down here. and OMG if their not cute small dogs i freak out and hide behind someone. i cant stand dogs.well stray dogs anyways.
10. That learning spanish is taking longer than i thought. but thats probably because i hang out with all that english speakers. i need to hang out with people that only know spanish. Jonny come here. lol. im kidding. i dont want to freak out my momma.

random movies that i want to watch when i come back
so this blog is another list blog but this time it´s about the movies that i want to watch when i get back to the States. so yeah here it goes....
1. Batman the Dark Knight... again ive since it twice but i want to see it again and again. at least 10 times. hahahaha yeah right way more than that. thats my new all time favorite movie. if that movie comes out on DVD before i come back u know who better have a copy of that in my hand when i arrive in Albuquerque. (well that and rockband 2 better be in one hand and in the other hand McDonalds)
2. The new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. wow he looks HOT!!! in that movie. i need to see that movie like 10 times also. lol
3. Little Miss Sunshine. i love that movie. Chicken......hahahahahaha
4. Harry potter 5 and 6. The order of the phoenix and The Half blood prince. yes im that much of a nerd that i know the titles of the movies. i could even give u an overview of what happens in the books and in the movies.
and this is another list blog thats gonna get updated lots of times before i get back. so keep checking back for updates. oh and if u havent watched Batman the Dark Knight i highly advise that u go watch it. and if u have watched it go watch it again. watch it in my honor.

random food that i want the first week im back in the states
so once again the title of the blog says it all. this blog is all about the food that i want to eat the first week im back in the states. this blog is gonna be constantly updated because almost everyday i think of something else i want to eat. i have an inner fat kid. what can i say. lol

random vacation plans
well because these up coming 2 weeks are vacation i decided to post a blog about what i plan to do. lol. yeah im trying to write shorter blogs. for your sake and my sake because wow it hurts my hand typing this much. lol. well here are my vacation plans.
we (charles and i) were supposed to go to Santiago in these 2 weeks that we have off but i dont know what happened and i guess were not gonna go. which makes me sorta mad because when r we gonna take a tour of Santiago. but whatever. so the following is a list of what i want/need to do over the upcoming 2 weeks
1. Start working on my report on Magdalena for my English class. remember i have to do it in spanish and its due in October.
2. Catch up in my journal. right now im on the 31st of August so im way behind.
3. Complete my work journal. i need to get a good grade on it so i better finish writing in it.
4. Sleep. what i always want to sleep.
5. Go shopping and go change out the rest of my money in Calama. i need new outfits. come on i must be stylish down here.
6. Go visiting places. i havent been able to so no time like the present.
7. Hang out with my friends like, Jo, Mimo, David, Gonzalo and all of his friends, Alejandro, and Charles.
8. Go on another road trip with Charles and our friends. that was awesome.
9. Go see a movie. i dont care which one. i just want to watch a movie. but it has to be in english. lol.
10. Get a new phone and get all of my friends numbers again. i miss my phone.
11. Go to Jo´s house to get all of my cellphone pictures off of her computer.
12. Go buy more froot loops, granola bars, and whatever else i want.
13. Get over being sick. i hate when i get sick during vacation.

super random update blog 2
okay so the title of the blog says it all. because i dont feel like typing out a huge long old blog right now. maybe later. lol
okay so this week has been up and down for me which i dont like because it reminds me of roller coasters. which i hate (ask weston). but anyways. monday started the week i had to give a presentation on Aldea de Tulor in spanish. so i was real nervious for that. but i wound up not gving the presentation because when it was my turn i totally lost it and started crying (yes i started crying). the reason i started crying is 1. i was so not prepared to give a presentation 2. i hate giving presentations and 3. i heard some stuff from one of my friends about my now ex boyfriend and one of my other friends and that really made me mad. but whatever. so monday was uneventful other than me crying and all drama.
Tuesday was a ton better. tuesday i had another chance to give my presentation and thanks to my friend Jo who helped me get more information and taught me how to pronunce stuff. lol. but i was super hyped up (actually i was more than that i was jumping around going crazy.lol) to give my presentation. well i gave my presentation i messed up pronouncing bloqeador but whatever. now this part is sad i only got a 7 on my presentation....JUST KIDDING!!!!!! 7 is the best score you can get down here. so needless to say i was more excited than ever. tuesday was also when i found out that me and charles were gonna have to march by ourselves in the parade the next day. i was all oh man charles better show up tomorrow.
Wentzday was the parade. my mom took off early to go to work and i had to wake up and get dressed in my tourism outfit and head off to the plaza. i went over to mimo´s restaurant and got her and we took off to get david. on the way we met up with charles so i was all WOO!!!! i dont have to go march by myself. we took off to the plaza and waited awhile. me and charles hung out with the english teacher for like an hour before we had to get into formation. we then did the whole marching thing. i tried to keep my head up but i couldnt i was laughing so hard. later on during the night me and mimo hung out at the ramadas. kinda like stands. it totally reminded me of a cooler verison of old timers. lol. and thats pretty much what i did on Wentzday.
Thursday was good until the night. all i did in the morning was get on the computer and stay on there until charles came over to my house. like at 8. lol and not in the morning. lol. yeah so me, charles, and my friend jo all headed out to the ramadas. on the way we met up with Alejandra and Cote (they both work with me at Tierra Atacama). and we hung out for awhile in the plaza before we all headed off to the ramadas. charles took off to his house because he didnt feel that good. and me, jo, alejandra hung out with some friends of ours that i met 2 saturdays ago. cote took off to hang out with some other people that work at Tierra Atacama. it´s so cute she likes Gonzalo one of my new friends and she was all embaressed. i was all how cute. well we all hung out at the ramadas and then we took off to go dance. we danced but me and jo didnt like the music so we took off to the adobe because our friend alejandro said that they were gonna play good music. but when we got there it was full so we couldnt get in and plus i lost my phone so i couldnt call alejandro to get us in. so me and jo took off back to the ramadas. and we danced some more before i had to go home. i was so tired.
Friday all i did was get on the computer and sleep. seriously. i slept in till 12. and then me and my new mom took off to her sisters house to eat. my new grandparents, my new aunt and uncle were all there. and we all ate empanadas which are huge and totally good down here. after that i went back home and tried to go to sleep but i started talking to everyone on the computer. i decided to stay in and not to go out dancing. i fell asleep. and then woke up watched Shrek 2 in spanish. and went back to bed. lol

4th day in chile, third day of school.
okay so since im in the blogging mood i´ve decided that im gonna blog as much as i can so u know i can catch up today. it´s like almost been a month and im only now blogging about my third day. wow. okay im really trying to shorten these blogs but once i start i cant really stop. ask my mom she knows. but this day happens to be filled with tons of stuff so this blog is gonna be super long so be prepared. well anyways the title of the blog says it all so im just gonna start. okay im not i have to say something. i havent been keeping up in my journal that much so yeah....im gonna have to stop staying on the computer for like 3 hours. lol and start writing. okay well anyways here´s my post....
okay so i the day started out pretty much the same as all the other days, me waking up drinking tea, running to catch the bus, riding the bus with the little kids. u know that same old same old. but that day was different because that day marked the first time i ever went to school on a friday. so needless to say i was super excited. (lets see if i feel the same a month from now though. lol) that and i was looking forward to the big dance that was happening that night.
well when i got to school my first set of classes were english. so i was all praise the lord a class i understand. well during the class everyone (except for charles and i) had to take an english test. while everyone was taking the test charles and i read the first and only newsletter in S.P.A. thats published in english. it was really informational. i read the whole thing cover to cover. it reminded me of new mexico. it´s funny. i´m bringing it back so my mom can read it. at the ending of the class we were all separated into the different majors (tourism(mine), buisness/administration(charles´s), electricity, and agriculture). the english teacher then told us to get into groups of five so of course i picked mimo, josefyna, valleria, and david. but then the english teacher was all no u and charles are going to be together. the teacher then said that we were going to be presenting an oral report on magdalena...in spanish. i was all oh great. but i found out that it was due in october so i´m like thats plenty of time to be able to prepare an awesome report on magdalena. the teacher told us that we could prepare food and stuff like that so right away i was all im so having my mom send me some powdered red chile. i cant wait to see their faces when they eat some. lol. im so mean.
the next set of classes were language which down here is spanish. lol. the class was pretty easy. all we had to do was pick an advertisment in the language book and answer questions about it. well i of course had to pick the ad with the hot guy on it. what i had to have something good to look at. lol. me and mimo were partners so we would answer each question in english and in spanish. what smarties. lol. yeah it took awhile for me to translate the question but thank god charles was there i was all charles come here like 30 times. poor him. (we wound up getting a 6.something on the assignment so i was happy. oh down here thats like an A)
the next set of classes were math. during the class we took a test on linear equations and how to graph them. wow i so failed. i had no idea what was going on. because sorry to say. that was math i never learned or never remembered either one. but the math teacher is cool. so i think he forgives me for being a little stupid. lol.
after all that it was time for lunch so i was all YES!!!!!! i´ve never been more happier for lunch. during lunch i found out that even if i buy my food outside i still have to go eat it in the lunch room so i was all bummers. but hey it´s not that bad. i also thought that my ipod was broken but it turned out that it was just messed up. lol. but down worry it still works. and it´s good.
so after lunch i pretty mush did nothing except talk to the english teacher because some kids have a religon class and i dont so i have 2 hours of free time. WOO HOO!!!! yeah i taught mimo all the state names and i got my tourism pants. their totally forest service green i started laughing so hard when i got them i was all im gonna be smokey the bear!!! i think charles was the only one that got that. lol. by the way Help smokey prevent forest fires. also we had a tourism group meeting and this is when we signed everybody up for sports and stuff like that for the next day because it was the school´s aniversery and they celebrate it. of course i didnt sign up for any sports because well everyone knows that im really not good at sports. but okay back to my story. well after talking with daniel (the english teacher) we had to go back to the language class. and pretty much all mimo and i did was finish answering all the questions.
after school we had to wait for the bus which like never came so we were all whatever lets just go. so charles, mimo, josefyna, valleria, jonny and i all took off down the road. while we were walking jo´s(josefyna´s nickname) mom picked her up so we were one person short. wow this seems like one of the math problems ...and then how many were left. lol. okay anyways...i got tired of walking and i told charles that i would pay him to carry me all the rest of the way so charles picks me up and starts to carry me but then he stops carrying me so i didnt have to pay him. he didnt carry me all the way. lol. well anyways we were able to catch a ride in a taxi thingy. on the ride over to my house mimo let me sit next to jonny. he´s so cute. ok so we got to my house and i of course needed to change before i went to the dance i was gonna wear my pink skirt but everyone thought that it would be too cold to wear it. which of course it totally was so thank goodness that i wore pants. during the time i was changing my outfits(like 5 times) jonny and valleria took off to their houses so it was just me,charles and mimo. but then jonny and valleria came back and we took off to the plaza because there was supposed to be a meeting in the plaza. but it turned out that there was no meeting. people. well sometime jonny and charles took off to charles house and valleria took off to somewhere. lol. so it was just me and mimo. so we took off to her restuarant and thats where we met up with david. this is when they told me that i was going to be the queen of tourism in the upcoming week and naturally i was super excited. i loved it. jonny also came over to mimo´s restuarant during this time so add jonny into the math problem. lol. *hint theres 4 of us. lol*
okay cuz this upcoming part is gonna be like super long i advise that u go now and use the bathroom or make some popcorn or something. lol. okay thats enough of a break back to the story...
now it was mimo´s turn to get ready for the dance. so we all headed down the street to mimo´s house. ok at mimo´s house they have mice in a cage and ewww i cant stand those things. their so creepy. but anyways mimo covered the cage so i didnt have to see them. but jonny kept uncovering the cage and i kept freaking out. i made evrybody laugh by going and standing underneath mimo´s light which looks like a halo. i was all ahh... im an angel and they all laughed. after mimo was ready we all headed to the dance. during the time we were going jonny took off with his cousin.
we got to the dance but the dance hadnt really started so me and mimo went to find her friend rumy whos a police officer down here. david stayed with some of his friends. we found rumy and we headed back to the dance.
the whole story about the dance is a story for a whole other time so i´ll just say. that it was a drama filled dance. (what dance isnt drama filled). i danced with 4 guys. 1 of those guys happened to be jonny. the dance went till 1 in the morning my new mom came and picked me up and i went home and fell asleep.
this was also when i first met my new mom´s boyfriend/husband manuel. he´s real cool he drove us home so i didnt have to walk thank goodness my legs were so tired from dancing for like 4 hours.
and thats the end of my blog. i hope u liked it. i tried to shorten it down that didnt work. lol. ok it´s now time for random answers to questions that everybody ask me. ok answer #1 yes i am learning spanish all i have to do now is learn is how to pronounce stuff and talk in spanish more. im learning how to translate what people are telling me faster so im not standing there for like 5 minutes like what? answer #2 yes i do like it down here and yes i do miss the states im not quite sure if i miss magdalena yet but i do miss my friends and family and MCDONALDS!!!!! answer # 3 yes im eating enough. im probably eating too much. lol. answer# 4 no i havent been able to go tour around because i havent had time between school and work i never do anything. and answer # 5 yes i love where i work althoigh i think im getting switched to a different job at a different place. but everyone who reads this blog go look up tierra atacama. thats the hotel and spa that i worked at. it´s so cool and the people are so nice there. i highly recommend it.

(lets see if i feel the same a month from now though. lol) that and i was looking forward to the big dance that was happening that night.
well when i got to school my first set of classes were english. so i was all praise the lord a class i understand. well during the class everyone (except for charles and i) had to take an english test. while everyone was taking the test charles and i read the first and only newsletter in S.P.A. thats published in english. it was really informational. i read the whole thing cover to cover. it reminded me of new mexico. it´s funny. i´m bringing it back so my mom can read it. at the ending of the class we were all separated into the different majors (tourism(mine), buisness/administration(charles´s), electricity, and agriculture). the english teacher then told us to get into groups of five so of course i picked mimo, josefyna, valleria, and david. but then the english teacher was all no u and charles are going to be together. the teacher then said that we were going to be presenting an oral report on magdalena...in spanish. i was all oh great. but i found out that it was due in october so i´m like thats plenty of time to be able to prepare an awesome report on magdalena. the teacher told us that we could prepare food and stuff like that so right away i was all im so having my mom send me some powdered red chile. i cant wait to see their faces when they eat some. lol. im so mean.
the next set of classes were language which down here is spanish. lol. the class was pretty easy. all we had to do was pick an advertisment in the language book and answer questions about it. well i of course had to pick the ad with the hot guy on it. what i had to have something good to look at. lol. me and mimo were partners so we would answer each question in english and in spanish. what smarties. lol. yeah it took awhile for me to translate the question but thank god charles was there i was all charles come here like 30 times. poor him. (we wound up getting a 6.something on the assignment so i was happy. oh down here thats like an A)
the next set of classes were math. during the class we took a test on linear equations and how to graph them. wow i so failed. i had no idea what was going on. because sorry to say. that was math i never learned or never remembered either one. but the math teacher is cool. so i think he forgives me for being a little stupid. lol.
after all that it was time for lunch so i was all YES!!!!!! i´ve never been more happier for lunch. during lunch i found out that even if i buy my food outside i still have to go eat it in the lunch room so i was all bummers. but hey it´s not that bad. i also thought that my ipod was broken but it turned out that it was just messed up. lol. but down worry it still works. and it´s good.
so after lunch i pretty mush did nothing except talk to the english teacher because some kids have a religon class and i dont so i have 2 hours of free time. WOO HOO!!!! yeah i taught mimo all the state names and i got my tourism pants. their totally forest service green i started laughing so hard when i got them i was all im gonna be smokey the bear!!! i think charles was the only one that got that. lol. by the way Help smokey prevent forest fires. also we had a tourism group meeting and this is when we signed everybody up for sports and stuff like that for the next day because it was the school´s aniversery and they celebrate it. of course i didnt sign up for any sports because well everyone knows that im really not good at sports. but okay back to my story. well after talking with daniel (the english teacher) we had to go back to the language class. and pretty much all mimo and i did was finish answering all the questions.
after school we had to wait for the bus which like never came so we were all whatever lets just go. so charles, mimo, josefyna, valleria, jonny and i all took off down the road. while we were walking jo´s(josefyna´s nickname) mom picked her up so we were one person short. wow this seems like one of the math problems ...and then how many were left. lol. okay anyways...i got tired of walking and i told charles that i would pay him to carry me all the rest of the way so charles picks me up and starts to carry me but then he stops carrying me so i didnt have to pay him. he didnt carry me all the way. lol. well anyways we were able to catch a ride in a taxi thingy. on the ride over to my house mimo let me sit next to jonny. he´s so cute. ok so we got to my house and i of course needed to change before i went to the dance i was gonna wear my pink skirt but everyone thought that it would be too cold to wear it. which of course it totally was so thank goodness that i wore pants. during the time i was changing my outfits(like 5 times) jonny and valleria took off to their houses so it was just me,charles and mimo. but then jonny and valleria came back and we took off to the plaza because there was supposed to be a meeting in the plaza. but it turned out that there was no meeting. people. well sometime jonny and charles took off to charles house and valleria took off to somewhere. lol. so it was just me and mimo. so we took off to her restuarant and thats where we met up with david. this is when they told me that i was going to be the queen of tourism in the upcoming week and naturally i was super excited. i loved it. jonny also came over to mimo´s restuarant during this time so add jonny into the math problem. lol. *hint theres 4 of us. lol*
okay cuz this upcoming part is gonna be like super long i advise that u go now and use the bathroom or make some popcorn or something. lol. okay thats enough of a break back to the story...
now it was mimo´s turn to get ready for the dance. so we all headed down the street to mimo´s house. ok at mimo´s house they have mice in a cage and ewww i cant stand those things. their so creepy. but anyways mimo covered the cage so i didnt have to see them. but jonny kept uncovering the cage and i kept freaking out. i made evrybody laugh by going and standing underneath mimo´s light which looks like a halo. i was all ahh... im an angel and they all laughed. after mimo was ready we all headed to the dance. during the time we were going jonny took off with his cousin.
we got to the dance but the dance hadnt really started so me and mimo went to find her friend rumy whos a police officer down here. david stayed with some of his friends. we found rumy and we headed back to the dance.
the whole story about the dance is a story for a whole other time so i´ll just say. that it was a drama filled dance. (what dance isnt drama filled). i danced with 4 guys. 1 of those guys happened to be jonny. the dance went till 1 in the morning my new mom came and picked me up and i went home and fell asleep.
this was also when i first met my new mom´s boyfriend/husband manuel. he´s real cool he drove us home so i didnt have to walk thank goodness my legs were so tired from dancing for like 4 hours.
and thats the end of my blog. i hope u liked it. i tried to shorten it down that didnt work. lol. ok it´s now time for random answers to questions that everybody ask me. ok answer #1 yes i am learning spanish all i have to do now is learn is how to pronounce stuff and talk in spanish more. im learning how to translate what people are telling me faster so im not standing there for like 5 minutes like what? answer #2 yes i do like it down here and yes i do miss the states im not quite sure if i miss magdalena yet but i do miss my friends and family and MCDONALDS!!!!! answer # 3 yes im eating enough. im probably eating too much. lol. answer# 4 no i havent been able to go tour around because i havent had time between school and work i never do anything. and answer # 5 yes i love where i work althoigh i think im getting switched to a different job at a different place. but everyone who reads this blog go look up tierra atacama. thats the hotel and spa that i worked at. it´s so cool and the people are so nice there. i highly recommend it.

3rd day in Chile. Second day of school
wow i really am trying to shorten these blogs down but it´s really hard for me so im just gonna keep writing super long blogs just to see if people love me enough to finish them. lol. ok so this blog is obviously about my third day in chile and my second day of school. lol. ok so here it goes again. (that just totally reminded me of playing rockband with justine and leonna. two days before i left. oh the memories)
so my started out pretty much the same with me waking up and drinking tea. it never fails but im always late. even with all my supplies packed and everything ready i was still having to run to catch the bus in the morning. i totally flipped out in the morning because charles didnt get on the bus at the same place so i was all wheres charles? but a little while down the road we picked him up so after that i stopped worrying.
well when i got to school my first set of classes were history twice, math twice, then english twice.during my first set of history classes everyone was working on presentations. so i kinda just sat there until mimo and i went to get a history book from the library. the rest of the class period was spent with me and josefyna trying to translate one page of the history. i dont remember if we ever even translated one page. lol. kept in mind that we had like 2 hours. lol
well anyways during our breaks i showed all my friends my ipod and my music. it shocked them to find out that "la gringa" had so much spanish music. lol my friend david loved that i had my chemical romance. and my friend mimo loved that i had christina aguilera and enrique iglesias on my ipod. and i totally had some mango juice which totally rocked my world.
well anyways during the rest of my classes i was totally lost mimo had to explain what was going on in math to me. but i knew what was going on in english lol. the last 4 classes of the day were all history. during these 4 hours all of my classmates gave presentations on medival time periods or something like that. i have no idea it was all in spanish. lol. but during javier´s presentation i told mimo that i liked javier´s smile and the teacher saw me pointing at javier because mimo didnt understand what i meant. lol. so the history teacher started laughing at me. lol. and now he thinks that i like javier. during these presentations charles fell asleep and the teacher got mad at him and told him to wake up. lol. i was all second day and charles is already in trouble. lol. oh and mimo put in the back of my spanish/english dictionary stickers saying i <3 reñe, i <3 jhonathan, and i <3 javier and under those is forever!! so yeah im afraid to give my dictionary to anyne now. lol. yeah she still teases me about all of them. well jonny more now. u should all know why. lol
after school me and mimo went and hung out. this is when i found out that mimo´s parents own a restaurant here in town called the cave. and i found out that mimo´s father s from france which is totally cool. so u never know i might learn french down here too. lol. this was also the first time i had got on the internet since leaving from magdalena. so of course i stayed on there for like 2 hours.lol. i had to check my email, my myspace, of course perezhilton. i need my gossip fix. yeah i got so caught up in it that i forgot to tell my new mom where i was so im already a bad kid. lol. but my new mom found me and everything´s alright. mimo also showed me around the town after we got off the internet. so kept pointing out restuarant after restuarant after hotel after hotel. i started laughing. because it was all restuarant, hotel, restuarant, hotel. she also bought us friendship bracelets which is totally awesome because their black and red. two of five of my favorite colors. lol. oh she also bought us little surprise bag thingys and inside mine was another bracelet that im so turning into an anklet.
oh and one thing that i saw down here that i like, other than jonny, is that on cigarette packages they put pictues of haggard looking teeth. it´s hilarious. i have to take a picture of that.

super quick update blog
ok so this is going to be super quick because i have to go to work. (at tierra atacama go look it up it´s awesome).
ok so in the past two weeks i got sick had to go to the hospital (i was dehydrated) got better. went back to the doctor and got vitamins (which taste bad but whatever i have to take them, its better than a shot). had everyone worried about me because i dont eat that much. but i put that to bed early by eating a ton of food in front of everyone. lol. started crushing on all the cute latino guys down here. i dont understand what they say to me but hey their cute thats all that matters right? lol. i went to a huge religious fiesta which was awesome i took tons of photos so i´ll upload them sometime. i drove (really bad) last night. i about gave my new parents heart attacks. lol
i´ll post more blogs and fill in all the details that i didnt post in this one. i still need to change out money and buy a phone card before my mom gets mad. lol. oh and i´ll promise to put pictures up on here.
so thats it for now because i dont want to be late for my fourth day on the job. im trying to be a good receptionist.
miss everyone but miss McDonalds more. lol sorry McDonalds is the bomb. oh and remember mom right when i step off the plane in Albuquerque i better have a McDonalds quarter pounder in my hand before anything else. seriously. i´ll be mad if i dont.

Day two in chile. aka my first day of school
okay so this is the blog about my first day of school which happened to be a lot firsts that day u´ll see what i mean later on in the blog. lol. im so blonde. ok so here it is...
well my first day of school in a new town in a new state in a new country in a new a continent (lol) was really good. it started out with me waking up getting all my school supplies packed in a backpack that i borrowed from my new mom, i miss my my chemical romance messenger bag by the way, and i drank some tea (my new addiction). my new friend mimo came by and picked me up and took me to the bus stop we had to run to catch the bus by the way. (my first time riding a bus) so much for being early and all that. when we got on the bus all these little kids were on it. and i was all of man i got on the wrong bus but no i got on the right one because like after 4 blocks the little kids got off at their school and more kids our age got on. a few blocks down the road we picked up Charles who looked like he didnt sleep at all. poor him. well we then got to school and my first day of school in a new town in a new state in a new country in a new continent started.
my first set of classes (6 hours to be exact) were all tourism. the first i think 2 hours were spent just hangin around throwing a party and everyone getting to know everybody. during the party my tourism classmates gave me an adorable hat (called a chulo) its so awesome because i really wanted to buy a hat like that. wierd but totally awesome. my chulo is brown and white. i so want to go buy one of everycolor. so u know i have one to match every outfit. lol. im so gonna wear it everyday to school when i go back to the states. well down here they have the longest breaks (ten minutes) and they have an hour lunch. when i go back im so gonna have to talk to mrs. lane about this. lol. ok well anyways here they make sandwichs just with bread and avacado. it´s actually really good. and they have the best juices down here. like peach juice wow thats amazing stuff. the breakfast my first day of school was how would u say it.....um odd. thats a good word. well it was this sandwich made with some sort of meat. oh god i dint even want to touch it let alone eat so both me and Charles didnt eat it. lol. but what they call hot chocolate down here was good. back in the states it´s called......oh man i dont remember. horchata..maybe im not quite sure. but whatever it is it´s really good. lol. i was trying my hardest to drink al of it but then i was like whatever man and i tried to pass it off to Sergio, who came to tell me and Charles that because of the power outage (the third one) we couldnt have our video conference, but he wouldnt take it. darn him. lol. that day i forgot to bring my money and my new cell phone that my mom gave my to school with me so that kinda was bad. but mimo was nice and she bought me some peach juice( my number all time favorite juice now no wait thats still apple juice.lol) oh back to my tourism classes for a minute. um ok so for like 2 ours we went ove the national parks of chile. i had no idea what was going on but the teacher Gabi went between spanish and english so i got it every now again. lol. thank god mimo´s with me in all my classes because i would have no idea whats going on all the time. lol. the last 2 hours of the tourism classes were spent with Gabi testing all the kids on the national parks she was nice and didnt test me because she knew i would have failed. lol. after all six hours of tourism was lunch. but before i tell u about lunch i will tell u that during one of the breaks reñe (the guy i danced with) came up to me and told me that i danced good. and of course i got all embaressd. lol. ok back to lunch so i finally got in the lunch line after talking with Sergio for like 15 minutes( i really didnt want to eat) but when i did swuam (i think thats how u spell it) told me to get in line with her. she´s a girl in my tourism classes. but while i was waiting in line the english teacher(who i met the day before) came up and started translating things they were saying to me. i was in line with a guy name javier. who thanks to the translating of the english teacher i found out that he liked me and that he thought i was beautiful and that i had beautiful eyes. lol. i also found out that reñe and jonny liked me as well. lol. jonny got all embaressed and took off. dang he´s cute. lol. so english teacher took off needless to say. i think he got embaressed more than i did. lol. well my lunch got passed around the table to so many different people because i couldnt eat it all. it was so funny. lol. i ate some of the rice and then passed it off to everyone else. lol. during that time sue translated that javier really wanted to be my boyfriend and i was like thats nice. *but at that time i liked someone else guess who lol* also during that time i got invited to a dance that was happening that friday but ur gonna have to wait to see what happened in a different blog. lol. but of course i said that i was gonna go because i love dances. so after lunch i had 2 hours of math and of course i was so excited for that. lol yeah right. i had no idea what was going on in the math class mimo had to explain everything to me. oh and thats when i found out that we were gonna have a math quiz that friday so i was all oh great i come down here and within 3 days i have to take a test. lol. the final classes of the day were english and i was super excited for that because thats what im good at. lol. ad plus the english teacher is super nice. during the classes we went over past and present verbs which i dont know that well. the teacher made me and Charles read aloud paragraphs about different celebrations. which 1 i hate to read aloud 2 everyone thought i was reading too fast. lol i was like im reading slow. but it was okay because after i finished reading all the guys cheered for me. lol. the english told Charles and i after school that he really wanted our help in trying to teach the kids in the class english and of course i was like i´ll so do that. but we had to go catch the bus so we left. on the bus sue asked if i wanted to take a tour of the city and i was like yeah sure. so sue, mimo, valeria, charles and i all went and started to tour the city but everyone started to take off and i had to go home and take a shower because the water was going to be off for like 3 days so i was like ok so i went home took a shower and all that jazz. when we got to my house sue helped me change my phone to english and i met my new mom´s friend and her really cute daughter. and this is totally random but soiky has a really good taste in music.
well i think thats it. that was my first day of school second day in SPA. (San Pedro de Atacama)

to my house sue helped me change my phone to english and i met my new mom´s friend and her really cute daughter. and this is totally random but soiky has a really good taste in music.
well i think thats it. that was my first day of school second day in SPA. (San Pedro de Atacama)

The whole ordeal with the flights
okay so im gonna tell u the whole ordeal about the flights and this is a long story so brace yourself. so here it goes....
when we got to the albuquerque airport sunday the 17th and u know said goodbye and all that jazz we got on the plane to Dallas well after all the security checks and all that. lol. this is so random. okay back to the story...we got on the flight which wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. i really work myself up to much about things.on the flight we (charles and I) sat next to this cute little boy and his mom. he had the curliest hair ever. he was so cute the whole time on the flight he was coloring this puppy book. that really makes me miss my coloring book. i need to go buy one. lol okay so one thing that did suck about the flight is that my left ear would not pop for anything. it was like the worst ear pain ever. but i got over it and i was good. okay so when we arrived in Dallas Sergio went to check on our flight to Santiago. when he came back he told us that the flight was postponed and that we were going to have to stay in Dallas for the night and then catch the plane the next day at 7 something in the morning. we waited around the airport before they gave us our vouchers for our dinner, snack and hotel (the westin) i laughed so hard when i found out where we were going to stay there because i mean westin is my best friends name except its spelled weston not westin. lol okay dang i get side tracked so bad. lol. so when we got on the shuttle to our hotel this crepy dude kept staring at me it was freaking me out so bad. i was like stop staring at me u creepy dude. lol but charles told me to move and well of course i did. on the shuttle sergio met one of his best friends who was on the same flight it was so crazy and random. we got to the hotel room and we had half an hour to get ready so all i did was watch the olympics. cause i didnt have my luggage with me whiched really made me mad but hey i could have got my luggage but i didnt want to hassle with the baggage claim whole thing. so i just relaxed and then charles came to get me. oh by the way weston if ur reading this i took the shampoo from the hotel u can totally have it i mean it does have ur name on it. lol. so i went down to dinner and ate a salad which was the best looking thing on the menu. lol. then me and charles left Sergio and his friend and went to charles´s room were we watched Ironman. i forgot how good that movie was. after the movie i totally went back to my room and passed out. i mean it was like 2 in the morning so i was like really tired. 3 hours later charles called me and woke me up which im totally glad for because i could have slept till noon. so i then woke up and packed everything up and headed to the airport. (oh by the way Charles got my snack voucher lost so yeah) at the airport we had to wait while the maintence crew fixed something on the plane. god i was so scared i was trying really hard not to freak out. Charles on the other hand was sleeping he pulled an all nighter and stayed up watching movies. our flight was supposed to leave at like 7 but it wound up leaving at like 9 thanks to some maulfunction on the plane. i was so bored waiting there for like 2 hours. well when we finally got on the plane me and charles were put in like the middle of the plane which was good because theres less noise. on the flight to Santiago they played the movie 21 but i was so tired that i fell asleep like 5 times during the movie so some other time im so gonna have to rent that movie. also during the flight we watched episodes of how i met ur mother, the big bang theory and the new adventures of old christine. oh and i actually ate on the plane. its amazing i know right but it was good it was pasta. so im good with pasta.i even got a pair of free headphones. so thats even better. when we got to Santiago we found out yet again that our flight was postponed until the next morning so we were going to have to spent the night in Santiago. i was looking forward to touring the city but because we got there so late all we did was head straight to the hotel. when we got to the hotel i was amazed at how nice it was. i thought that the westin in Dallas was nice the hotel in Santiago made the westin in Dallas look like a super 8. oh and there was two cute guys that worked at the hotel so that made it even better. lol. oh and this time we had our luggage with us so of course i had to change my outfit. lol. i wound up arriving to dinner late. because i had to do my nails, hair and change my outfit. always make an impression thats my new motto. lol. well i mean they only gave me an hour to get ready come on people should know by now that i need at least 2 hours to get ready. lol. so i went down to the first floor but nobody was at the restaurant down stairs so the guy that worked down there told me to go to the 17th floor because there was a bar up there. so i did and lo and behold they were there waiting for me. Sergio introduced me to another one of his friends. who was really cool because he had this really awesome accent. yeah i know im a blonde. i had this really good drink it was some strawberry thingy. lol no it was not alcoholic. i dont want to scare my mom. lol. after dinner i went back to my room took a shower and went to bed. i also charged my ipod i had to get an adapter but charles took care of that for me. thank god i went with charles down here. in the morning i got woken up by Sergio saying that they were waiting for me down stairs that the taxi was already there and omg needless to say i jumped out of bed threw everything in a bag and took off running down the hallway. i got downstairs jumped in the taxi and we took off to the airport. if i would have taken any longer. we wouldnt have been able to catch our flight. because after to checking our bags and going through security we barely got to our gate on time. on the flight from Santiago to Calama we were all spilt up and i had to sit next to people that i didnt know. but the guy that i sat next to was nice and they showed a documentry on david beckham so i was totally good. the guy that i sat next to on the plane said that he had some family in Albuquerque so that was cool. when we arrived in Calama it was already the 19th it offically toook us 3 days to get there. the airport in Calama was small. i mean we had to land outside and it was freezing. we had to go down those little steps that u see in movies. it was cool but freezing. we had to wait around the airport for like an hour before we got our rental car. but in the time we were waiting we got to see this police officer in this cool pimping uniform. it was like an army green color. i loved it. well we finally got our rental car and we took off to San Pedro.
and thats the story on how we finally came to arrive in San Pedro. yes this post was really long and detailed but believe me i cut this post down alot. now all i have to do is write a post about everyday since we got here. thats gonna take awhile. lol that and i really need to learn spanish. and get more sleep. last night i got 9 hours of sleep thats the most i´ve gotten in the whole time ive been here. lol. well ttyl for now. love and miss everyone.

im finally in chile. (Day One)
so im finally in chile after a huge ordeal with all ther postponing of flights and all that. lol. yeah our flight from dallas to santiago was postponed till the next day and then our flight from santiago to calama was postponed until the next day. so yeah we finally arrived here on tuesday. dang I have a lot of stuff to say on this blog but i dont want to stay here typing for like 2 hours. lol. i´ll skip all of what happened on way down i´ll write about that later. lol. to keep this short i´ll just tell u about my first day.
when we got here in san pedro we first went to the main office kinda of like the mayors office that was cool although i didnt understand a word that they said to me. lol. but they were nice they gave me a book on the atacaman culture. i really need to read that. lol. after that we headed off to the school. on the way over to the school we picked up charles and i´s new moms. i was shoocked to find out that my new mom was really young. lol. yeah she´s really cool we have to bust out our spanish-english dictionaries to piece together a sentence but hey were working on it. the first night i was here i met her mom,dad, sister and brother in law. so that was cool. i have a new extended family. lol. okay back to my story of my first day here. when we arrived at the school everyone was just staring at us. which i mine come on i really dont blame them i mean. duh. were the new kids. lol. thats the first time i have ever been a new kid how cool. lol. we took pictures with the principal of the school and our new moms which is awesome. memories. lol. we walked into what is their lunch room and sat down in the front row. they had some kids give speeches and play music. the third song that they played was a dance song and halfway thru the song. a guy comes up to me and asks me to dance. im like right away embaressed but hey whatever charles had to dance to so i got to razz him about that. lol. the guy that i danced with i later found out that his name is reñe. and i also found out that he likes me. lol. at the end of the presentation they gave us our uniform shirts. charles got mine and was like this is way to small and im like this is way to big.lol . so we switched needless to say. ok so after the presentation i met josephina, valeria, mimo, sue, and david. they all showed me around the school and pointed out people to me. which was awesome cause i had no idea what was going on. thank god sue knows english. after the tour i had to go to my new home. which is amazing it´s green inside. lol. my room is Soiky´s old room. i think before i leave back up to the US that im gonna put up posters of hot guys. just to freak him out. lol. i got home ate some rice which was so good. tell u the truth i really want some now. lol. after dinner all of my new mom´s family came over like i said and we hung out i taught them some english and they taught me some spanish. lol. a cuchara is a spoon. lol after they left i went to bed anticipating the next day. ha thats the end of second blog. aka the blog about my first day here in chile. wow this is long.
i just want to say thanks for sticking thru it and reading this super long blog. lol i also want to say that i miss all of my friends back in mag town. love you guys. hope u guys are having as much fun as im having. lol. once again to my cheerleader buddies sorry i left u with only 3 cheerleaders. hopefully by the time i come back u will have more. lol. lets see right. lol. oh and Andy i miss u a lot already. email me sometime. level271lover@yahoo.com

Leaving
okay so i decided to write a blog before i left you know so there would be something to look at on my page if anyone came on it. lol
